Wearing tips for the HRM-Fit
To ensure both the comfort and performance of your HRM-Fit, we recommend that you follow these steps when fitting the strap.
Put the HR monitor
Step 1. Choose a medium or high support sports bra with a fitted pull-on band. For tips on choosing the right sports bra, check out the Sports Bra Fit Guide in the next section.
Step 2. Wet the electrodes on the back of the strap.
3. Starting at the center clip of the strap, insert the fabric strip of the sports bra into the HRM-Fit and then secure the cover in the closed position. Repeat this process for the side clips.
4. Use a mirror to check that HRM-Fit is in place, lies flat under the bra band and is compressed against the skin.
Sports Bra Fit Guide
HRM-Fit works best with a sports bra that has a flat band around the ribcage under the bust. Good compression of the band is necessary to minimize movement of the HRM strap and ensure skin-electrode contact.
