Lightness and performance

Weighing only 215g, the Protone has the lowest resistance coefficients as well as the fastest heat dissipation coefficients compared to other ventilated helmets on the market. Thanks to various ventilation slots and a thick lining material, heat and moisture are dissipated very quickly, improving comfort and performance without compromising safety: the upper area is reinforced with an internal plastic substructure that improves impact protection.

The Protone weighs only 215g. It features a Dry 3D liner with a multi-layer open-cell manufacturing process to provide the best comfort to its user. It has a removable and washable inner liner, made from CoolMax® fabrics. The fabric of this inner liner has been treated with the Sanitized® antimicrobial process. KASK still uses its Multi In-Moulding Technology to create a polycarbonate cover for the top, base ring, and rear of the helmet shell. It is attached to the polystyrene liner by KASK's In-Moulding Technology, which allows for better shock absorption of the shell. Its reinforced frame further reduces the risk of impact that could cause the shell to rupture.


ECO-FRIENDLY LEATHER CHIN STRAP

Chin strap with eco-leather chin strap. The hypoallergenic and washable chin strap is extremely comfortable and helps prevent skin irritation.

3D DRY PADDING

3D DRY padding is achieved through a multi-layer open cell construction process: high technology for the best comfort and performance.

INTERNAL MOUNT

The innovative internal reinforcement frame provides greater mechanical strength and better compactness. In the event of an impact, it prevents the helmet from breaking into a thousand pieces, providing greater safety.

IN MOULDING

The innovative "in-moulding" technology, combining the internal polystyrene liner with the external polycarbonate shell, guarantees better shock absorption.

MIT

MIT technology, applied to all KASK cycling helmets, guarantees superior safety and complete protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer covering the shell on the top, base ring and back.

OCTO FIT

The rubber adjustment wheel provides a better grip. The floating contact points of the cap are combined with internal gel blocks for optimal comfort. These supports have been designed to oscillate freely up to 180°, providing a perfect fit regardless of head shape. The skeletal attachments of the headgear have been designed and improved to provide the best fit and support while being as light as possible.
