The Verticale SLR is the best example of what we have been and what we do best: a racing bike that has improved the weight of the Wilier 0 SLR, the previous climbing model from the Wilier brand, by almost 10% - 9.73% on the kit consisting of the frame, fork, handlebar and seatpost.

The Verticale SLR is today Wilier's best card, the new generation of the best Italian bicycle manufacturers.
For the Verticale SLR, in particular, we used three types of fibers produced by Toray, the leading Japanese multinational in the production of carbon fibers, specifically the T800, the T1100 and the M46 JB.
The first thing you notice is the unusual shape with its differentiated handlebar width. Viewed from the front, the grip on the controls is narrower than the lower part of the handlebar. This shape was designed to provide concrete solutions to the demands of professional cyclists who, season after season, seek optimal aerodynamic solutions while respecting UCI regulations.
The trend is towards narrower shapes but with a wider lower grip for greater maneuverability, which is essential during sprints. The difference between the upper and lower parts is 30 mm.
The V-Bar, like other monocoque handlebars in the Wilier catalog, is also compatible with other high-end bicycles. It is available in 6 sizes : 2 with a width of 37/40 mm, with 90 and 100 mm stems, and 4 with a width of 39/42 mm, with 110, 120, 130 and 150 mm stems.
