The lightest road cycling shorts we've ever created benefit from our first-ever seamless stretch fabric with graduated ventilation, creating both incredibly lightweight shorts that keep you cool and offer good support for longer rides.

We've been trying to promote lightweight bib shorts since 2011, but we keep running into the limitations of sacrificing durability for ever-lighter weight. So, we had to take a step back and find a better solution. We reviewed the boxes a bib short must tick: keep the chamois securely in place, while adding as little weight or fabric as possible (without being see-through, of course), and it has to withstand a heavy season. We therefore designed a completely new woven fabric instead of a knitted one, which eliminates 30% of its weight while maintaining the same level of support and opacity. We then worked with the world's largest fabric manufacturer to create a fabric with a decreasing denier as it goes down the leg, the last section weighing just 90 g/m² compared to a standard bib short fabric, which weighs around 220 g/m². This fabric, while incredibly lightweight, maintains a decent level of durability with excellent abrasion resistance, especially against the saddle. We can't guarantee its resistance to unexpected slips on asphalt, so please keep the rubber side down! Note that while the bib shorts save 48 grams when dry, this also means they absorb approximately 30% less moisture when you sweat. So, when you're sweating on Alpe d'Huez, you save nearly 150 grams. These bib shorts make no compromises on comfort. They feature our premium Progetto X2 Air Seamless chamois, the amazing mesh bib straps from the Free Aero Race 4 bib shorts, and a flat stretch-woven leg gripper to keep everything in place.
