BEARING Jesa 688 Steel
THE mini rolling Jesa 688 Steel has a shiny rolling surface and incredibly precise balls. Lightweight plastic cages allow for less rolling resistance. The steel, which is extremely strong, helps the bearing retain its shape when under load. To help reduce drag, Jesa increased radial clearance by providing slightly fewer "full ball contact areas." Made in Switzerland.
Bont 688 bearing adapters fit over your 688 mini bearings so they can fit into 608 wheels. These bearing adapters allow you to use a mini bearing in a wheel designed for a larger 608 bearing. The advantage of using a mini bearing and adapter rather than a 608 bearing is that you can create a much lighter setup with better acceleration. This product requires cylinder spaces, not normal self-centering spacers.
