We designed these shorts to incorporate as much of the technology from our top-of-the-line pro race shorts as possible at a more accessible price. And while they're certainly suitable for weekend races, they're also great comfortable, high-performing shorts, even if you never pin a number on them. The Competizione 2 Bibshort is made mostly from our textured Vortex fabric. We used a wide, stretchy gripper with integrated silicone at the legs to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The KISS Air2 seat pad offers comfort that's very close to our top-of-the-line chamois pads, but with unbeatable value. We've updated the bibs a bit: the back is mesh for breathability, while the bibs are made from a lightweight stretch material and remain comfortable even when you're spending hours on the bike. The intangible component you'll appreciate most is our ability to design a perfectly tailored fit, the result of the work of Castelli's engineering team. This model is the short that incorporates all of Castelli's expertise in comfortable performance bib shorts, in an accessible product to add to your cycling wardrobe.
